Completed in 2013 in Lima, Peru, this cultural center is a space for exhibitions, research, and reconciliation of Peruvian people. Its goal was to integrate man into the landscape, recalling the Costa Verde cliffs. It provides a balcony overlooking the sea and a massive public plaza, easily accessible to all.
Located in a populated area, the building protects visitors from the chaos and noise of traffic, and opens them toward the cliff and ocean. Containing a long, continuous path, it connects the city to this massive structure, through the museum, with a return path back to the city.
Place of Remembrance is made of reinforced concrete panels. It opens to the South, with large glass surfaces on this side, framing views of the cliffs.
