Users print to the IT Lab and Cluster printers using the University’s WolfPrint system. More information is available at go.ncsu.edu/print/.
Users may install printers on their own computers. Use the Installation links on the right side of this page for instructions. Users may also use the University’s WolfPrint FollowMe printing system on some of our printers. FollowMe printers are only useful for simple black and white or color documents that don’t need any customization. Users send files to a generic print queue and retrieve their job and any FollowMe printer by swiping their ID card. More information is available at go.ncsu.edu/print/.
IMPORTANT: When a print job is sent, it must be approved by the user via PCClient software or the web client at go.ncsu.edu/wolfprint. Print jobs not authorized within 5 minutes will disappear.
PCClient or the web client communicate with the WolfPrint servers to provide users with current information about their WolfPrint accounts. PCClient is installed on all College of Design IT Lab and Cluster computers. Users can download the PCClient software from ClassStore in the folder: Information Technology/Public/PCClient Installers. Both Macintosh and Windows versions are available. Instructions for connecting to ClassStore are available from the right side of this page.
Please read this page before installing printers on your own computer.
