The Clarendon\u00a0typeface represents a historic and treasured symbol\u00a0in my family, the first rice mill in Texas. My great great grandfather built the mill and chose the typeface for the rice bags. There is even a very old letterpress on the site! Almost all of the original machinery is still there, still working. At this point, regardless of how outdated the logo may be, I would never want them to change it (said by a designer HA!), just because something can be changed doesn’t mean it should be changed. I received a pillow made of a rice bag from the mill one Christmas, I will always have Clarendon and my family close by.
