Writing a research paper is an interesting process. Writing THIS research paper made me question if I am, in fact, losing my memory (along with my mind)? As I researched the effects of digital media on memory retention, I discovered how little I retained from digital media. Scary, right? Especially when digital media is where we glean much of the information that informs us about the world. To make my process clear (or unclear, as I am so good at doing) I devised a paper map to make restructuring the paper a little easier. It was also a good way to look back and find areas that need to be clarified or elaborated on.
