The first part of my studio class this semester we did a series of studies on conversational interfaces. I began thinking about a prototype that focused on the research question: How might a CUI help productivity to organize different things at once? How can someone unload every thought on their mind and a CUI organize it in a useful way? How can a CUI show that it is listening?
I focused on a single moment. Considering two different kinds of scenarios:
- When you are trying to sleep, and your brain is still working.
- When you are on the go, you remember something, but you cannot write it down.
This application would be able to project the experience of listening through movements on a watch face and transfer the information being spoken by the human to a bigger device such as a phone, tablet, or computer in a visually organized way that could be understood by the speaker when looked at later.
