I’m feeling inundated with information and there’s a tightness in my chest. The constant barrage of numbers, stats, and updates has made it difficult to focus. As a designer, I am inclined to think of how this information could be delivered more compassionately to those suffering from anxiety or panic disorders. Are there other ways we can articulate the gravity of the situation without inciting strong feelings of chaos and panic? Can we block out all the noise and just see the information that is most helpful? Can we assist those who hold fastly to a routine respond more fluidly to our fast-changing environment and uncertain future?
