While conversational user interfaces (CUI’s) like Google Home and Alexa are sounding more like humans, they still lack the ability to understand and share our emotions. Because of this, I wanted to look into how a CUI might express empathy.
More specifically, how can a CUI listen to us, affirm and share our feelings?
